Good Afternoon Pirate Nation,

To accommodate for the instructional time lost due to the freezing temperatures in January and the Welder Fires before Spring Break, we will be extending the 3rd Nine Weeks grading period to now end on Friday, March 21. 

We have communicated these changes with UIL to ensure there is no impact on student eligibility. Additionally, the Sinton ISD School Board was informed of this adjustment during last night’s meeting.

Below are key grading dates to keep in mind:

End of 3rd 9-week grading period 

January 20-24, 2025: No School - Bad Weather. March 5-6, 2025: No School Due to the Welder Fire.

Friday, March 21st - grading period ends, and work is due for UIL eligibility

Friday, April 11th - grading period ends, and work is due for UIL eligibility.
