Parents,

Thank you for your patience as we have worked throughout the day to assess campuses at the eastern end of town (Welder and SHS). We have been working to get utilities online, general cleaning, and air quality monitoring at these campuses which are closest to the fire damage. Although we truly want to get back up and going tomorrow, we have made the choice to err on the side of caution and give the smoke and air more time to settle before bringing students back on campuses. Friday was already a student holiday. This extra time will allow the area to better clear and we will be 100% ready to welcome our Pirates back on March 17.


Additional information will be sent out to faculty and staff via email regarding work expectations for the next two days.

All extra-curricular activities outside of Sinton will remain on schedule. Extra-curricular activities at Sinton will be evaluated and communicated by your coach or sponsor.
