Sinton ISD Administration will be working today to reach out to student families or employees who have been impacted by the fires yesterday to aide in securing support and addressing immediate needs. If you need assistance, please contact the Sinton ISD Administration Building after 8:30 AM at (361) 364-6800. Our campus counselors will also be coming in this morning to assist and will be available through the morning for any student or staff member who may need to talk with someone during this stressful time.

Additionally, we have been in contact with various local churches and other local support efforts to help facilitate assistance. Our goal is to be available to assist our students and staff, along with anyone else who needs assistance. It has been a tough 24 hours, but we are here and we want to help. We’ve got you if you need us.

We will also be working today to get everything back online at Welder Elementary and will communicate additional guidance to you all this afternoon. Unless something beyond our control prohibits us from doing so, we are planning to resume classes tomorrow (March 6). Stay tuned.
