Dyslexia Awareness Week

We are going to have activities to celebrate our students for the week of October 11-14

Monday: Take a Bite out of Dyslexia: Do-nut ever give up! We are treating our students to donuts.

Tuesday: Let’s Tackle Dyslexia! We are giving our students Super Bowl Rings (ring pops). They will also get an opportunity to draw for a football autographed by the Sinton Pirates!

Wednesday: Red Out! The Dyslexia Awareness color is red. Have your child wear red that day. We are asking that our faculty also wear red to show their support for our students. We are going to give our students “red hots” and other red items.

Thursday: Our Future is Bright-Go for the Gold. Students are asked to wear neon colors. They will also draw for a volleyball, autographed by Olympic Gold Medalist, Jillian Williams. She also has dyslexia and is great role model for our students that with hard work, all things are possible!
