Free Breakfast & Lunch for All Students Effective Immediately

Every student in Sinton ISD will receive FREE breakfast and FREE lunch every day at each campus, at least through the end of this school year (2017-2018). Every student will be receiving flyers that explain breakfast and lunch choices to them and to parents and guardians. Parents and guardians need to be aware that there will be no charging. If a student chooses more than one main dish or other extra item, they will have to pay cash for the item or have enough money in their account to pay for the extra item(s).

Public Notice

Sinton ISD is now accepting referrals for students who may need Gifted/Talented (GT) Services for the school year. This program is designed for students who exhibit intellectual and creative thinking abilities at an extraordinary level not normally served in the regular classroom. Services are provided only upon identification of education needs of the student.  Anyone wishing to refer a student attending Sinton ISD in first through twelfth grade may do so by requesting a referral form:

SHS Decathlon Team

Congratulations to the Sinton High School Academic Decathlon teams for placing 2nd & 3rd in the Small Schools division of the SHS Invitational Meet this past Saturday, Nov. 11, 2017. A total of 28 teams from Harlingen, San Antonio, and points in between, competed in the event. Students were tested in Economics, Math, Language & Literature, Science, Social Science, Art, Music, and Super Quiz. This year's Academic Decathlon theme is Africa.

Earning 2nd place was SHS Team 1 consisting of Aeriel Torres, Morgan Rodriguez, Roland Martinez, and Enrique Vargas. SHS Team 2 placing 3rd in the included Melina Fletcher, Sachee Patel, Joseph Mejias, Joshua Zapata, and Cameron De La Fuente. Each of the SHS competitors earned multitple ribbons for scoring in the Top 3 in various events. AcaDec Coaches Bronson Hamilton, Paul Brown, Marty Garza.

SHS Debate Team

Sinton High School  Debate Team! They faced tough competition in the 4A ESC2 Region Thursday, but still managed to qualify 2 students to the UIL State Competition in Austin on January 8-10, 2018.
This is the 5th year for UIL to have this State event and the 3rd year that Sinton has qualified for State (and we only competed for 3 yrs)
