Pre-Register for College Fair

Go To College Fairs

Go to   to register for College Fair.  This replaces having to fill out an information card with each college.  Select September 17, 2108 TACRAO All Dallas II and Coastal Bend Fairs - These are not listed individually - Dallas - Coastal Bend, Texas, United States Fairs.  You may print your barcode or use email received from your cell phone.  College Fair will be held in Sam May Gym from 1:30-3:30.


SHS will be providing the opportunity, on a voluntary basis, to students to take the Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery (ASVAB) on September 26, 2018.  The ASVAB is an aptitude test that covers eight areas, which are related to different careers.  An aptitude indicates your readiness to become proficient in a certain type of activity.  The eight areas of the test include General Science, Arithmetic Reasoning, Work knowledge, Paragraph Comprehension, Mathematics knowledge,  Electronics Information, Auto and Shop Information, and Mechanical Comprehension.  This assesses a student's ability to learn new skill and is a predictor of success in training and education programs.

Students will receive a Career Exploration Guide when their test results are returned to them.  This guide includes an interest inventory that will help students use their interest and ASVAB scores to explore both civilian and military occupations.  There are no obligation to enter the military after taking the test.

2018 - 2019 School Year Registration

Event: District-wide registration (Grades Pre-K through 12)

Time: 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Where: All Sinton ISD campuses


District wide registration for the 2018-19 school year will be Thursday, August 9th from 8am-8pm at all Sinton ISD campuses.  This is for all student Pre-K through 12th, returning and new students.  If you are unable to complete the Online registration, there will be computers and assistance at each campus during the district-wide registration on August 9th. YOU STILL HAVE TIME TO COMPLETE THE ON-LINE REGISTRATION! 


Parents of returning students will have the opportunity to complete some of the process prior to the full registration on August 9th. Online Enrollment for the 2018-19 school year, is now active in the parent portal of Skyward. If you already have a skyward account and also have a new student you may enroll them through the Only New to the District tab. If you need assistance retrieving your login please follow the link for forgot username/password or contact the campus for assistance.

If you are New to the district, online registration can be located at the web address below. Please request a username and password and an email will be sent to you with all the information including the link to complete the process. Please know that the required documents: Birth Certificate, Social Security Card and Proof of Residence can be uploaded into the system. If you have any questions, please contact the respective campus.

Voluntary student insurance is made available by the district through AIG Accident & Health.  Two types of coverage are offered for grades K-12; School Time Accident Coverage or 24-Hour Accident Coverage.  Click to view the Voluntary K-12 Brochure for more information including the prices and Enrollment Form.

If you wish to purchase insurance, you will need to print out the Enrollment Form and turn it in to your child's campus during enrollment.

FPS Competition in Wisconsin

Sinton Students Place At Internationals
5 students from Sinton ISD represented Texas at the Future Problem Solvers International Conference and Competition held June 6-10 in La Crosse, Wisconsin at the University of Wisconsin La Crosse. Maggie Gibson and Ethan Garza  assisted with the Conference. Ethan Garza is a member of the Texas State FPS board.
This year more than 1600 students came together from 10 countries to celebrate the problem solving process. New friendships started, memories made and ideas shared.

Future Problem Solvers in Wisconsin

Ella Troup, Emma Nieto, Jolie Lankford, Jamie Burch and Keira Rodriguez representing Sinton Elementary, Smith Middle School & Sinton High School. These students, under the guidance of their coach their Coach Elizabeth Nieto are competing and representing Texas and Sinton ISD at the Future Problem Solving International Conference and Competition in La Crosse Wisconsin at the University of Wisconsin June 6-10.
