Sinton ISD Students Represent Texas and  Place 4th at 2017 International FPS Competition

12 students from Sinton ISD traveled to the University of Wisconsin at LaCrosse to represent Texas and compete in the 2017 International National Future Problem Solving Conference. Over 2000 students from all over the United States and world competed in the 4 day conference. Representing Texas and placing 4th in Senior Community Problem Solving Division were Sinton High School students  Robyn Castro, Madison Schaefer, Emma Nieto, Kendall Allen, Jackson Allen, Rylee Kay, Madeline Nieto, Dylan Summa and Alex Loya. Placing 4th in Junior Global Issues was Sinton Elementary student  Jamie Burch. Placing 4th in Junior Magic Multi-Affiliate  Global Issues was Smith Middle School Student Ella Troup. Coaches attending were Maggie Gibson and Elizabeth Nieto.

Send Off the Sinton Pirate Baseball Team

State Bound Sinton Pirates Baseball Team will have a send-off at 9am tomorrow, Tuesday, June 6. They will leave Sinton High School at 9am, travel down Pirate Blvd. and go down Sinton Street all the way through town. Line the street and cheer them on. Tell your friends and neighbors to come join us!!

Pirates Baseball team are going to STATE. They will play Waco Robinson Wednesday, June 7 at 1pm at Disch Falk Field in Austin.

High School Credit Recovery Info - Summer 2017

Greetings Sinton Pirate families,

If your child failed a course, they can recover credit for this failure by completing work left by their teacher of record. However, not all course can be recovered. We will be making phone contact on Thursday, June 1 with every students who can potentially recover credit. Please contact the high school if you have any questions. Also, if your child did not pass and End Of Course (EOC) test, they can receive EOC preparation and take the test this summer. The hours of operation for credit recovery, EOC test preparations, and EOC testing are listed below.

● Summer School Hours of operation (Dates given are for Monday through Thursday of each week, there will be no school on Friday)

○ Week 1 (5 - 8 Jun 2017)

■ Credit recovery only - 8:00am -12:00pm

○ Week 2 (12 - 15 Jun 2017)

■ Credit recovery - 8:00am - 12:00pm

■ EOC preparations

■ 8:00 to 9:00 Algebra 1, US History, English 1

■ 9:00 to 10:00 Algebra 1, English 2

■ 10:00 to 11:00 English 1, Biology

■ 11:00 to 12:00 English 2
