Dr. Jones earned his Bachelor’s degree from the University of Oklahoma in 1991, his Masters degree from East Central University in 2001 and his Doctorate from Sam Houston State University in 2016.  He and his wife Robyn have three girls, AJ, 19; Becca, 16; and Molly, 13.  Dr. Jones began his career as an educator in Norman, Oklahoma and spent 13 years as a science teacher and a coach before coming to College Station ISD to begin his career as an administrator.  He went on to serve as a high school assistant principal and an elementary principal in College Station ISD and a high school principal in Rockdale ISD before becoming the superintendent at West Hardin County CISD.  The past five years, Dr. Jones has spent as superintendent in Iola ISD.  The 2018-2019 school year will mark his 28th year as an educator.
