Sinton ISD Students Represent Texas and Place 4th at 2017 International FPS Competition
12 students from Sinton ISD traveled to the University of Wisconsin at LaCrosse to represent Texas and compete in the 2017 International National Future Problem Solving Conference. Over 2000 students from all over the United States and world competed in the 4 day conference. Representing Texas and placing 4th in Senior Community Problem Solving Division were Sinton High School students Robyn Castro, Madison Schaefer, Emma Nieto, Kendall Allen, Jackson Allen, Rylee Kay, Madeline Nieto, Dylan Summa and Alex Loya. Placing 4th in Junior Global Issues was Sinton Elementary student Jamie Burch. Placing 4th in Junior Magic Multi-Affiliate Global Issues was Smith Middle School Student Ella Troup. Coaches attending were Maggie Gibson and Elizabeth Nieto.
